America is home to many beautiful tigers. But these tigers aren’t living in a natural environment, nor are they living in a zoo. These tigers are being help captive, chained, caged, by celebrities and the rich across america. There is an estimater 5000 tigers across the U.S when only approximately 3200 live in the wild. Chad Ochocinco, a famous football player, Benji Madden from Good Charlotte, Mike Tyson had a tiger which now lives at a refuge, Paris Hilton had a pet tiger which is now at a refuge and a good 5000 more tigers are currently living in America. Domesticated cats have very different personalities from large cats such as Tigers, domestication of these animals is an unfroutunate occurance.
Thought for today: I think Tiger Woods is more deserving of a cage.
On the 6th of April, 2011, a female swan who was nesting her egg was brutaly stoned to death by 4 teenage boys while 2 teenage girls supposedly watched. The 4 boys have now been caught and everyone is anticipating the judges ruling. I’m hoping 100 hours of community service, (the boys are only 14.) Black swans are a native species to Australia and all Australians are absolutely appalled.
Thought of today: How can Australians expect kids to respect animals when Australia is one of the only 1st world country without tough animal abuse prevention.
This ad was made by PETA to show a more “adult” side the the benefits of vegeterianism. It was meant to appear at the American Superbowl but was banned. Now PETA is being critised for objectyfing women now and in the future. But is this ad made to make women feel bad? Or was it made simply for shock value.
The Shock value seemed to work.
Thought of today. “If vegeterians have better sex, I wonder how good vegans are?”
